東京に匹敵する人口を抱えるイランの首都。ミラッドタワー、アザーディータワーという２つのシンボルタワーがそびえ、歴史的に重要なペルシア時代の骨董品や出土品などを集めた国立考古学博物館や、かつての王政時代の宮殿など、観るべきスポットは満載です。しかし、テヘランはとても大きな街で、各スポットも非常に広範囲にわたっている上に、早く閉まる観光施設が多いため、観光には入念な計画が必要となってきます。最近、テヘラン・メトロ網も充実してきているので、うまく使えば、経済的でもあり、かつ楽しみも増えるでしょう。

Tehran is the capital city of Iran, and the population is nearly equal to Tokyo. Two symbolic towers named Milad tower and Azadi tower rise above the other buildings around, and there are so many tourist attractions like the National museum with a lot of important historical Persian antiques and artifacts, some Palaces of Shah (king) time, and so on. But Tehran is a huge city and these spots are far from each other. What's more, most of tourist attractions close early. So a well-prepared plan for sightseeing is necessary. Tehran Metro is expanding year by year. It would be economical and fun if you use it properly.
